It is buttery soft. The feminine cut is flattering and the style is versatile. Great jacket for the price. As for the fit, I love it. I have a little trouble finding fitted jackets that arent too tight around the bust area. I ordered the Large. It is a great fit; the jacket is roomy enough for me to wear a heavy sweater underneath. If I wanted a snug fit, I could possibly go down to a Medium.
