It is warm enough when the temp is simply cold, but in the single digits it needs to be supplemented with an extra layer. O throw on a hooded sweatshirt and I am good to go. It is heavy, the leather is soft and smells like leather, the shearling is plush. Finish is good not great but good. This is fully 5 stars. The fit is great but I did use their fit chart and ordered a XL. I usually would order XL. Order one you will not be disappointed.
